![]() Often a minor dent will be in an area where the backside of the metal is not very accessible. The easiest and quickest way to get it out is to pull it out. Here are the steps below. ![]() Drill a number of small holes in the body in the dented area. The size of the hole should be determined by the size of the puller. You can pick up the puller set at harbor freight for around $10 dollars. ![]() Screw the puller into each hole and put the weight against the handle to pull the sheetmetal outward. Pull the metal out in the gradual increments. STEP 4 - UP TOP RIGHT. |
![]() If you dont have a slide hammer, use a large sheetmetal screw and some vice grips. Now pull the metal outward. Dont try this on huge dents though. Only on smaller ones. ![]() A look at the dent after the first round of pulls. Some low spots are still there so they should be drilled and pulled again. ![]() When the surface is pulled out as smoothly as possible, clean the area with a grinder to remove the old paint. This is a must. ![]() Get some bondo and cover the remaining portion of the dent. Let the bondo go through the drilled holes. Sand the surface smooth with your sanding blocks, and use a few guide coates of spray paint. Primer it when you're finished. |
